Food Pantry

Please remember people who aren’t able to purchase enough food to feed their families! It’s as simple as bringing a few canned goods with you to Mass on the weekend. All food donated to our food pantry is distributed three ways; to people seeking food assistance from the parish office; to needy residents of Waverly, VA; and to Bainbridge Community Ministry (in South Richmond), which provides food and clothing for the elderly and the working poor. 90% of the volunteers at Bainbridge come from our parish. This is a good opportunity for direct service.

You can leave filled grocery bags near the Food Pantry closet just outside of the Chapel in the Commons.

Please contact Jennifer Snider at 864-4718 if you would like to assist in this important ministry or click here to print a form to return to the Parish Life Desk or drop in the weekly collection basket during Liturgy.
